Christian broadcaster Daystar has had its Jerusalem studio destroyed by a firebomb reports that the studio was attacked over the weekend by an arsonist who threw a firebomb at the building.

In a comment, the station commented, stating, “We are believing that God will take what the enemy meant for harm and turn it around for good! Please pray with us as we begin the process of restoring our Jerusalem studio!”

The not-for-profit network is committed to re-building the studio. “The control room I would say is probably totally devastated,” contractor Dave Sharett, told CBN News. “The controls actually start here with the electric panel, the main electric panel and anything plastic is totally melted.

“It was a beautiful like living room set up, real casual set up, nice chairs, stools, tables, nothing survived. If it didn’t burn, it melted.”

The Jerusalem studio was opened in 2009.

Founded by Marcus Lamb in 1993, Daystar is headquartered in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex in Texas.
