Sacked Australian sacked star Israel Folau has removed his social media accounts, before reinstating them just before his legal battle with his former employer, Rugby Australia (RA), continues.

It is reported that Folau removed the posts, but then was advised to reinstate them, as their removal would show that he was in fact remorseful for the post below that led to his sacking.

Earlier today, his accounts had been removed, but were restored within a matter of hours.

The player has made the news worldwide for his sacking, receiving wide support from Christians globally. Fundraising page GoFundMe even removed his effort to raise funds to take on Rugby Australia, however Christian group Australian Christian Lobby stepped in, helping him raise over $2 million from the public to fund his legal case.

In fact, the organization had to stop the donations after raising that figure in just a few days. Folau is suing RA for $10 million.

A verdict on the court case is expected soon.
